牧(mù )江(🚼)村郊(jiā(😵)o )野山藏(📃)(cáng )有一(⛺)怪，赤面獠牙，名曰垃圾人，他(📔)身世神(🙌)秘，以垃(✌)圾为食(🥃)，日遇村(🐾)妇马秀娟，将其掳掠。马秀娟(🥚)(juān )通过(🅿)与(yǔ )垃圾人(ré(🏇)n )的交往(wǎng )，发现他虽丑陋骇(🌱)人，却心(🕡)地(dì )单(🛐)纯。但天(🥔)不(bú )遂人愿(yuàn )，“单(dān )纯”的(de )垃(🎺)圾人(ré(🔄)n )却将马(🥄)(mǎ )秀娟(🌙)视(shì )为配偶，囚于废弃厂房(🆘)(fáng )。矿山(⚽)(shān )老板(⬅)徐(xú )东(🕌)南徐(xú )西北两(liǎng )兄弟欲(yù(🖐) )借炸山(🛤)(shān )除垃(🍇)圾(jī )人(⌛)之名(míng )在野山(shān )非法拓矿(🌉)，全然不(🌐)顾马秀(🤙)娟安危(🐑)。而垃圾(😭)人通过马秀娟逐渐了解人(🕋)类的尊(🐘)重与爱，遂(suí )将(🍉)其放(fàng )归牧江(jiāng )村。马(mǎ )秀(🍄)娟得(dé(🛵) )知徐东(🔞)南阴谋(✋)后为救垃(lā )圾人与(yǔ )之抗(🏵)争(zhēng )，最(🐇)终(zhōng )被(👻)绑于(yú(⛳) )山上，垃圾人(rén )为救马(mǎ )秀(🏣)娟与(yǔ(🐠) )徐东南(⬛)(nán )死命(🥛)相搏，后被徐东南(nán )炸死。环(⛅)保组(zǔ(👋) )织声明(🌡)(míng )垃圾(✅)人(rén )出现乃(nǎi )牧江村(cūn )的(⛏)环保(bǎ(🍑)o )意识薄(🕘)(báo )弱之(♎)恶(è )果(🎦)，垃圾人本无罪，罪在人心对(🥥)环境的(🌍)态度，并呼吁民(🥉)众善待环境。

故事讲述桃花(🐥)村(cūn )里(🥩)的杀(shā(🦑) )马特男(🛬)(nán )青年刘(liú )辈意外(wài )发现(🐿)自己的(🔃)侄子单(🌹)身汉(hà(🕖)n )刘协暴(bào )毙于家(jiā )中,并对(😞)(duì )于他(🤸)的(de )死产(🥊)生(shēng )了(💉)很大(dà )怀疑。此时村(cūn )子里(✳)面(miàn )也(🈷)来了一(👹)位不速(🌡)之客,他(tā )就是地(dì )产开发(📖)(fā )商曹(🏼)猛(měng )德(🎥)，他(tā )向各位(wè(🏉)i )乡亲提(tí )出高价(jià )收购土(🛀)(tǔ )地的(😅)提(tí )议。村长董(👍)灼则煽风点火，鼓动大家将(🎳)土地卖(🍔)给曹猛(🍯)德,并且(🐒)能够从此变为城里人。刘(liú(🐪) )辈一向(🎪)(xiàng )反感(✉)董(dǒng )灼(👈),对于(yú )董、曹(cáo )的提议心(📃)存怀疑(💹)，而他(tā(🥇) )对于侄(👳)(zhí )子的死(sǐ )更是耿(gěng )耿于(💝)怀(huái )。于(🥠)是(shì )刘(💅)辈带(dà(👊)i )着好兄(xiōng )弟、同(tóng )为杀马(😐)(mǎ )特青(🧣)年的关(💰)语、张非,开(kā(🐵)i )始了对(duì )于曹猛(měng )德和董(⛳)(dǒng )灼的(📭)调(diào )查,并最(zuì(💣) )终发现(xiàn )了曹、董二人(ré(🕉)n )克扣拆(👅)(chāi )迁款(🚕)并且谋(🐋)杀刘协的犯罪行为,也为全(🔵)村的百(🤴)姓维护(🏸)了自己(💹)的权益。

Juanita, a loud 35 year old mulata, returns to her homeland to spend Christmas with their loved ones along with 350,000 Dominicans living abroad. She does not come alone, she's accompanied by Mariano, a rough Spanish man much older than her, he's anxious to get to know this island where you can sow 365 days a year. Mariano has decided for the first time in his life to take a risk, he sells his share of the land in Burgo de Osma to a brother and helps Juanita pay for the mortgage of her house in Santo Domingo just when she was about to lose it to the bank. Upon arrival, Juanita confesses she has two children, Mariano confesses in return to have taken advantage of her illegal status in order to get her to stay with him. Amidst these confessions the avalanche of family and friends falls on them, among them is Jairo, the father of her children, a typical 30 year old street wise Dominican who looks at him with jealousy. What Juanita did not confess to Mariano is that she has allowed Jairo to stay at her house to help with the children. Juanita and Mariano, who while being in Spain clung to each other like two castaways to a raft, will try not to drown in Santo Domingo.

Dave Stimple, an unfocused mattress store owner, is having issues connecting with everyone around him. He arrives at the shop one morning to find the local health and safety people have shut him down. Bugs, huge bed bugs and lots of complaints are cited as the reason. Dave is really confused and his relationships with his wife, friends, and his own humanity seem to be devolving and increasingly distracting anomalies begin to take over his reality. But his issues may not be as internal as they seem.
