It's summertime in a hot and empty Buenos Aires. Marcela's world is shaken when her sister dies, leaving her completely out of sorts. Still grieving, she must deal with clearing out her flat. One of her daughter’s young friends, Nacho, appears on the scene, eager to help, a presence which leads to shared road trips and adventures. During these confusing days, people and conversations from another time will mingle, prompting questions, while the imminence of everyday life closes in on her.

When everything comes crashing down, two destructive siblings are trying to maintain a balanced psyche.

Stefan Gabriel (Martin Wuttke) ist Bademeister und engagierter Vater zweier sehr unterschiedlicher Töchter. Die 12-jährige Jessica (Ella Frey) wird wegen ihres wenig mädchenhaften Aussehens oft fü(⏮)r einen Jungen gehalten und hat mit einer ganzen Reihe Ticks zu kämpfen. Ihre drei Jahre ältere Schwester Sabrina (Emilia Bernsdorf) ist hingegen zwar hübsch, leidet aber unter einer schweren Krankheit.
